How to Join our Church
Things You Need to Know
about Church Membership
 
How to Join Our Church Family: You may become a part of our church family several different ways. 
·       Most people join after the Sunday sermon during the invitation to discipleship. 
·       You can complete the new members’ class (First Steps) offered every Sunday morning at 9:30 in the sanctuary. 
·       If you have never been baptized, sign up for the water baptism class offered every 3rd Sunday at 9:30 AM. 
·       Fill out the Membership Update Form and submit it to the office. 
·       However you decide to join, please make sure we know about your decision and that you complete our pre-membership (new members’) class, First Steps.
 
If you still have questions, ask the Pastor, deacons, an usher, a Sunday School teacher or a choir member. They will be glad to assist you.

How to Go to Heaven
Things You Need to Know
about Salvation
 
How to Give Your Life to Christ: Joining or attending church is not the same thing as giving your life to Jesus. Although the Bible calls for church attendance, merely showing up does not gain you salvation and eternal life. Here is how you can know you are going to heaven:
 
The ABC’s of Becoming a Christian
A – Admit to God that you are a sinner. That means you have not always lived up to His perfect standard for holiness. Tell Him you are ready to repent, turn away from sin and turn toward Him.
B – Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of God who died because of your sins, rose from the dead, and now offers you forgiveness of sins.
C – Confess your faith in Jesus as the Savior from sin and the Lord of your life. First, confess it in prayer to God. Second, tell your pastor, deacon or Bible teacher. Third, tell everyone of the good news!
 
The Prayer of Salvation
“Dear God, I admit to You that I have not always lived up to your perfect standard for holiness. Today I am ready to turn from sin and turn toward You. I believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of God who died because of my sins and now offers me forgiveness. I confess or proclaim Him as my Savior and the Lord of my life. Amen.”
