Purple & Pink
Glorifying God & Conquering Cancer
Purple & Pink was birthed out of Mrs. Jowanda Thomas' battle and victory over breast cancer in 2004. (See her testimony.) It is an outreach ministry that raises awareness while providing Christian comfort to breast cancer survivors and supporters.
- Purple is a royal color. It stands for glorifying God.
- Pink is the breast cancer color. It represents conquering cancer.
Since 2006 the Purple & Pink ministry has picked up steam and followers. As most people know, it takes money to do ministry and financial support has lagged the popularity of Purple & Pink. So, please pray about donating to this ministry. We have been surprised how much we have been able to do on so little. With thousands of people diagnosed every year the ministry needs to counsel recently diagnosed breast cancer patients, comfort their children, encourage their spouses to remain faithful, and increase everyone's understanding of their roles in the battle are great. So please pray about helping us help a family. It's amazing what the love of Christ flowing through people can do for those in crisis.
